If you struggle with strange ingame physics and sped up animationspeeds (e.g. the desert-race):
some of the game-mechanics and physics are tied to the game fps. if you use nvidia you can setup a custom screen resolution and monitor Hz rate to 30Hz in the nvidia settings. In fullscreen the ingame v-sync will lock the fps to 30 and correct the ingame-physics.
don't forget to change the settings back after your game-session ;D

I used to play this a ton when I was younger. Very fun at the time. Goofy and weird. Nothing like the original game but this was very cool. I loved the jungle area. The one thing I hated was the LONGGGG LOAADD TIMEESSS and somehow it still is a thing even when mounted to an SSD and everything it just takes so long to load!

For anyone who is having trouble installing this game, 1st make sure you are using a program for mounting ISO such as daemon tools or power ISO. extract with winrar next open 'eup-li2.cue' with notepad.
On the 1st line you will see- FILE 'IMAGE.BIN' BINARY you must change this to whatever your .bin file is named, in this case the command line should look like this..
FILE 'eup-li2.bin' BINARY
Save as and rename to whatever you want with .cue ex: eup-li3.cue
if it gets saved as a .txt do a quick google search how to enable file extentions
and change the file you just modified to .cue
mount and have fun :)

Matthew, if the download is an ISO file (like with Lego Island 1) try mounting it using a program like PowerISO. Once mounted, you can check what the ISO file contains and may be able to find a .exe file.
For your info, an ISO file acts like a virtual CD. Programs like PowerISO create a virtual CD drive for your PC which you can 'mount' an ISO file to. This has the same effect as entering a legit gaming CD into your computers CD drive and will allow you to play the game by going to My Computer, right clicking on the Lego Island 2 CD and selecting Open. My apologies if you have already attempted this.

How to Download Lego Island ?

1. The first step you will have to take is to download the x360ce zip file by going to the official website. You need to select the 32 bit or 64 bit version which will be the same as the version of Lego Island you are going to be using.

2. Search for the installation folder which has the game. You can do this quickly by looking through the game shortcut settings present or by finding the game in your Steam library list. After you do this, right click on the name and select the properties option which has been given.

3. Go to the local files tab and press the button which says browse local files.

4. You need to look for the folder which has the Lego Island executable. They are usually located in the Binaries / Retail folder which is given. Extract the downloaded x360ce ZIP file with your game executable file that is provided.

5. Select the x360ce exe file by right clicking on it and choose the option which says “Run as Administrator” from the drop-down menu.

6. If you see a window which has a warning that comes up, you can ignore it as this is a file which is required for the emulator to function appropriately. Make sure you click the Create button to make them appear.

7. When x360ce informs you that a new device was detected, use the automatic search option for the settings from the internet and click on the button which says “next”.

8. Once the installation process is complete, hit the “Finish” button which is present.

9. Press the “auto” button in order to change all the settings to default mode. The changes can be saved by clicking “Yes” in the popup window.

10. Click on save to make sure all your changes have been saved and you can launch and start playing Lego Island.
